The magazine’s 2022 "Top Doctors" list highlights the region’s best physicians across a wide array of specialties. Our physicians were nominated by their peers in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia.

Newsweek has named Children's National Hospital the 14th best children's hospital in the world. Their rankings intend to help families know which hospitals have the most accomplished physicians and diagnosticians and offer the highest level of care.

Children’s National is ranked #5 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. Additionally, Children's National is ranked #1 in neonatology and is Magnet®-designated for excellence in nursing.

The D.C. Department of Energy & Environment has awarded Children’s National for its work in reducing anesthetic gases that contribute to ozone depletion and greenhouse warming.

This is the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey of healthcare facilities on policies and practices dedicated to the equitable treatment and inclusion of their LGBTQ+ patients, visitors and employees.
