Safety Center
The Children’s National Safety Center provides a combination of preventable injury education and accessible safety equipment to children and their families throughout the Washington, D.C., region, as well as all families that visit Children’s National Hospital.
The goal of the Safety Center is to decrease the number of preventable childhood injuries in five priority areas:
- Car safety/car seat check
- Home safety/falls
- Infant sleep safety
- Pedestrian safety
- Sports safety
Location and Hours
Operations at the Safety Center will be suspended due to coronavirus (COVID-19). We will continue to follow the hospital's protocol to ensure the greatest safety and health of our patients and their families. We are committed to the well-being of our community and will continue to monitor and update the hours and availability per the hospital and CDC recommendations.
